Osoyoos sits at the southern tip of the Okanagan Valley, just a few kilometres from the US border. It has more sunshine hours than almost anywhere else in Canada, a lake so warm you can swim in it from May through September, and a landscape unlike anywhere else in the country Canada’s only true desert, the northern tip of the Great Basin Desert.
Add world-class wineries, roadside fruit stands overflowing with cherries and peaches, and a laid-back small-town feel, and you have one of BC’s most rewarding travel destinations.
